Being informed is important.  Thanks to the news, podcasts, the radio, and social media, being informed is also unavoidable.  We wake up each morning to new bad news, and each day seems to top the next!  Distinguishing facts from exaggeration seems impossible, leaving us overwhelmed and lacking control.

Before you start your week, please take this one moment to clear all of the bad news from your head.  Think about all the good this week has in store for you.  Think about your family, your friends, or your pets.  Think about springtime, warm weather, and the days getting longer.  Think about whatever it is that makes you happiest!  Regardless of what this week may hold, keeping those happy thoughts in mind eases some anxiety.  You’ve got this!
